Brandon has been the Senior Pastor of Friedens since 2009. Two of his favorite words in ministry and life are “relational” and “intentional.” He loves being with people, and he values knowing why we’re doing what we’re doing. Brandon has a degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Minnesota State University-Mankato, and after college he served in campus ministry with CRU. He then earned a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. Brandon and his wife Shelly have two children. In his free time, Brandon enjoys bicycling, reading, and hanging out with family and friends.

Senior Pastor
Greg joined the team in 2017, bringing his passion for helping people grow in their faith. Prior to that, he spent years in the business world before pursuing a calling to ministry in 1999. He earned his Masters in Theological Studies from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and has served at Willow Creek Church, Elmbrook Church, and Cornerstone Church. Greg enjoys reading, running, discussing current events, and camping with his wife, Elizabeth, and their two children.
GREG MASSLICH
Pastor of Adult Discipleship
Matt joined the Friedens staff in 2021. He is passionate about seeing students make their faith their own and fully grasp what Christ did for them on the cross, and he loves watching students make connections in scripture and apply it to their lives. Matt graduated from Moody Bible Institute with a degree in Biblical Studies. Prior to coming to Friedens, Matt served in youth ministry at First United Presbyterian Church in Moline, IL. Matt and his wife Sydney have one daughter. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with family outdoors, going on walks, going to parks, trying new restaurants, watching the Bucks, Brewers, and Packers, and struggling in Fantasy Football.

Pastor of Students & Young Adults
Charissa was on staff at Friedens from 2006-2007 and since 2010 as Worship Director, and her position was expanded to include Communications in 2018. She also serves in student ministry and leads an adult small group. Charissa loves connecting people with God through worship and is also passionate about seeing students grow in knowledge of and love for God by studying the Bible. Charissa has a B.A. in Music and Bible from University of Northwestern St. Paul. She served as Worship Director at Sheboygan Evangelical Free Church between her terms at Friedens. Charissa is married to David and they have three children. She enjoys travel, writing, good conversations, and coffee.
CHARISSA TOELLER

Shelly has been a part of Friedens since 2009 and began serving in a staff role in 2020. She loves teaching children ways to remember Scripture and Biblical themes so they can recall them as they grow. She also loves to help connect people within the church family so they can develop meaningful relationships. Shelly has a B.A. in Child and Family Studies from Concordia College - Moorhead MN. She previously served in college and children's ministries at Salem Evangelical Free Church in Fargo, ND and has also served for many years as a volunteer in many ministries. Shelly is married to Brandon and they have two children. Her hobbies are walking, talking with friends, watching Hallmark movies, cooking, and blogging.

Heidi has been on staff at Friedens since 2011. While she attends and volunteers at Northbrook Church, we consider her an integral part of the Friedens family because of how in tune she is with the inner workings of the church and its people. Heidi has a degree in Business Administration from UW Oshkosh. She is married to Adam and they have three children. In her free time, Heidi enjoys baking, being outdoors, and attending her kids' events.
