Welcome
“Friedens” is a German word that means peace. Friedens Evangelical Church was founded more than 150 years ago by German immigrants who sought the peace they could not find in their home country, peace from their difficult pioneering way of life and peace with God. Today, Friedens Church is still a place for those who seek peace in their world, peace in their relationships and peace with God. If you are new to Friedens and are looking for a church home, please look around the web site and see if Friedens might be that kind of place for you. Then take the “three-Sunday challenge” by visiting us for three Sundays and prayerfully consider whether to make the Friedens family your church home.
