We are commanded by Christ to "be His witnesses in Jerusalem, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth" and to "Make disciples of all nations." Jesus also taught "service by example" as demonstrated in the washing of the disciples' feet. We strive as a church to mirror the compassion God has demonstrated toward us as we plan and implement our mission work locally, regionally, and internationally.

Local Missions

bulletThe Food Pantry

A local volunteer-based outreach providing food, clothing and other services to needy people in our area. We give financial support, donations of food and clothing. Several Friedens' members are active in the organization.
bulletInterfaith Caregivers

A local faith-based organization of volunteers who serve Christ by serving the homebound, elderly, and disabled in our area. We are one of two founding churches. We provide financial support and quite a few of our members are active volunteers or board members.

Regional Missions

bulletKidz' in the 'Hood

An inner-city Milwaukee ministry reaching out to children and families in their community with food, shelter, Bible studies, homework assistance, marriage counseling, and more! We provide food for their cupboards through a monthly food purchasing program called "Share."
bulletCampus Crusade for Christ

A ministry to the students dedicated to winning, building, and equipping followers for Jesus Christ! We provide some financial support for a full-time missionary on campus at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
bulletOne-Way Evangelistic Ministries

One-Way One-Way Evangelistic Ministries is a non-profit evangelistic organization committed to presenting the Gospel message of our Lord Jesus Christ through itinerate speaking opportunities, short-term international mission trips, and musical outreach with international music teams from Trinidad & Tobago, the West Indies.
bulletAWANA Ministries

We have an AWANA children's ministry program and provide financial support for the area AWANA ministry who works to develop and build up AWANA programs throughout the area.

International Missions

We presently provide financial support for missionaries serving in Brazil, Canada, Indonesia, Poland, Thailand, and with New Tribes Missions headquartered in Florida.
