There are lots of ways YOU can get involved in Friedens ministries. What unique talents has God given you? Are you using them to serve others?

• AWANA CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
  Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm. Listen to children recite Bible verses, be an encourager to them and love them! Contact Pastor Matt for more information.
  
  
• BLAZE YOUTH MINISTRY
  Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm. Interact with youth in games, devotion time and small groups. Contact Pastor Mark for more information.
  
  
• SUNDAY SCHOOL MINISTRY
  Sunday mornings at 9:15 am. Help children learn about God! No teaching degree required … just love God and love kids. Great, teacher-friendly materials. Opportunities for lead teachers, helpers, and subs. Contact Sue Voll for more information. (284-2201)
  
  
• NURSERY MINISTRY
  Sunday mornings at 9:15 am or 10:30 am and "as needed". A team ministry caring for those too young for Sunday School or to be in worship time. You can be on the schedule as often as you like or just a couple of times a year. Contact Lori Kelly for more information. (284-1753)
  
  
• HOSPITALITY MINISTRY: THE EVENING WOMEN'S GUILD
  As needed for Church Dinners, funeral luncheons, pot-lucks and special events. Planning, preparing and serving meals to encourage fellowship, raise funds for special projects, serve families of the church when there's a death, and other services that provide support and hospitality. • MINISTRY TO SICK & SHUT-INS: THE AFTERNOON WOMEN'S GUILD
  First Thursday (most months) at 1:00 pm. Fellowship, a brief program and devotional, refreshments, and carrying out a ministry of contact, encouragement, and prayer for our church's sick and shut-ins. Contact Lorraine Kendall for more information. (284-9062)
  
  
• EVANGELISM MINISTRY
  Every-other-month or as needed. A team that meets with the pastors to discuss strategies for mobilizing the church to reach the lost with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Contact one of the pastors for more information.
  
  
• MISSIONS MINISTRY
  Every-other-month or as needed. A team that meets with the pastors to coordinate mission support — locally, regionally, and internationally. Another component is educating the church about our mission work. Contact one of the pastors for more information.
  
  
• MUSIC MINISTRY
  Sr. Choir (presently Sunday mornings at 9:15 am). Worship Team (rehearsal times vary). All voices lifted up to praise God and help the congregation draw near to Him in worship are needed and welcomed! Instrumentalists of all kinds needed, too! Contact Pastor Mark for more information.
  
  
• SOUND BOARD MINISTRY
  Sunday mornings at 8:00 or 10:30 am and as needed. Learn how to operate the sanctuary sound system so it helps everyone hear clearly. Contact Pastor Mark for more information.
  
  
• WEB SITE MINISTRY
  Any time. Submit photos, articles, or other items of general interest to our "webmaster," Phil Block. Items to be published need not be in electronic format, but it really saves time if they are!
