Comforting Thoughts to Share
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion, and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God." (2 Corinthians 1:3-4) Have you ever had troubles? Have you ever experienced God's comfort in the midst of your troubles? Then you are especially equipped by God to pass that comfort on to others who also are experiencing troubles -- any troubles. There's hope in the loving God, creator of the universe, who cares for us. "For though the Lord is exalted, yet he regards the lowly." (Psalm 138:6). Pass it on.

Keep Your 'Nets' Mended
Jesus called his disciples to become 'fishers of men'. In Jesus' day, people fished with nets not single fishing lines. Each of us today has a "net" we can use for fishing; a net of relationships with which we can "catch fish." Read more
