O Sing Unto the Lord
"When I remember you on my bed, I meditate on you in the night watches, for you have been my help, and in the shadow of your wings I sing for joy. My soul clings to you," David wrote (Psalm 63:6-8). Do you cling to God or do you turn to other sources of comfort when you're in trouble or in doubt? Do you meditate (literally, chew on) what God has done for you and wants to do for you or do you waste precious hours worrying about what might happen to you? Do you sing to God, or murmur in your heart? Having a heart for God like David did isn't easy for many of us. But each of us can do one thing today that he did sing to the Lord. That might be a good place to start in changing our heart.
'40 Days' Sermon Tapes Available

Maybe You Should Stop Praying
"I think I've come to the conclusion that most of us, myself included, just need to stop praying. ...I think that the reason why we don't have a more vital life of prayer is that we are afraid," writes Bob Hyatt on The Ooze website. That's because to prayto truly pray, to truly careis to change. Read more
