How Deep is God's Love?
What is Easter really about? "Who has plumbed the depths of God's love? Only God has. 'Want to see the size of my love?' He invites. 'Ascend the winding path outside of Jerusalem. Follow the dots of bloody dirt until you crest the hill. Before looking up, pause and hear me whisper, '"This is how much I love you.'" So writes Max Lucado. Read more
'40 Days' Draw Even Nearer
Time is running out to sign up for a "40 Days of Purpose" discussion group. Call Theresa Zahurance at 268-6839 about space availability in the 30-some groups being formed or check the sign-up board in the church lobby. Groups are being formed to meet every day of the week, all hours of the day and in homes in Port Washington, Belgium, Cedarburg, Saukville as well as at church. Also, you can buy your materials now at the table in Memorial Hall.
Contemporary Goes Weekly
Beginning April 24, a more contemporary worship service will be held at 5 p.m. every Saturday. Attire is more casual and the music will be more modern. This service is especially aimed at people in their teens and 20s and for those who find it difficult to get to church on Sunday because of work or family requirements. Nursery is available. A search has begun for a new name for the Saturday service to help it attract new worshippers and give it an identity. Names given to similar services in other place include The Rock, The Ooze, Worship Alive and The Expedition. Call Pastor Mark Kato with ideas or other questions about the new service.

Behind Every Great Man...
...Is a woman who is praying for him. Diane Bristow has developed a 31-Day Prayer Plan for wives to follow so they can lift up their husbands to God. "Lifting your husband up in prayer for 31 straight days will make a difference in your relationship with him and your heavenly Father," Bristow writes. Find the plan
Looking for God's Will
"Is it my responsibility to consider how Christ has made me, then look for situations that best fit my gifts and interests? Or is it to try to understand where the greatest areas of human need lie, and do my best to relate to them? Do I find the will of God by looking inward or by looking outward?" asks M. Blaine Smith. It's a balancing act between "gifts" and "needs." Go to: http://www.nehemiahministries.com/inward3.htm.

Resurrection or a Rabbit?
"Family Tip of the Day" (Growing Together by Karen and Dale Mason) highlights Resurrection Cookies, a creative way to teach children the true meaning of Easter. Find it at http://www.gospelcom.net/growingtogether/1999/03/index-03-19-1999.html. Who's 'Normal'
In stores you'll often find merchandise at greatly reduced prices and often marked with a tag proclaiming, "As is." People are like that too. Read the article by John Ortberg: "Everybody's Normal Until You Get to Know Them".
