Ever considered getting involved in the BLAZE youth ministry for junior and senior high but not quite sure about it? Well, we need your help to continue to grow as a ministry, and there are lots of different ways that you can help and lots of different levels of commitment. Here are just some of the ways you can get involved!
- Prayer Team: Those committed to praying for our youth and youth ministry needs as updated by Pastor Matt.
- Drivers: Those willing to drive their own or someone else's vehicle from time to time in order to provide transportation for special events.
- Resource Team: Those who have property, special skills, or equipment that they would be willing to allow the youth ministry to use occasionally.
- Hosts: Those willing to volunteer their home for special events or a Bible study group.
- Planners: Those able to help plan details of special events like retreats, etc.
- Small Group Leaders: Those willing to help lead a small group Bible study.
- Teachers: Those able to fill in with a Sunday school lesson for jr. or sr. high or teach occasional devotionals on Sunday night.
- Shepherds: Those who build meaningful relationships with youth during the Sunday night program.
- Any other way you would like to be involved!!
If you're interested in serving in any of these ways, let Pastor Matt know by phone, in person, by note, or by e-mail (blazeministry@hotmail.com). If you're not sure about being involved, come observe sometime and see if the ministry is a good fit for you! No strings attached!
