Parents have hopes and dreams for the child but realize that the ultimate choice must be the child's own. Parental guidance and prayers are offered to the end that the child may develop Christian character and through the choice of a life work give Christian service.

The Christian church looks to the home as the seed bed from whence must come the leaders to fill the ever-broadening avenues of service. The entire Christian fellowship rejoices when one of its children gives himself/herself to one of the myriad opportunities for Christian witness and leadership.

Because Friedens Church has faithfully served this community since 1854 and through this time has received the leadership of many pastors, we eagerly look forward to the day when we can add to the record that we have given of our sons/daughters into the full-time ministry of the Christian Church.
