2002 Afternoon Senior Women's Fellowship Report

Our group used to be called the "Afternoon Guild" and there was a time it was a very active part of the church's ministry. It's been a part of Friedens for several generations. Over the years, our membership has decreased while the average age of our participants has increased. We still love to meet, but our mission and ministry have changed.

Our new name, "Afternoon Senior Women's Fellowship" is meant to better reflect who we are and what we do. We sincerely desire more senior ladies to join us for our monthly fellowship and devotions. If you or someone you know might enjoy occasional afternoon fellowship with some really nice older Christian women, come join us! You don't have to be an official member of the church to participate. There's no dues or meetings - just good fellowship, devotions and sometime a brief program.

Our customary meeting time is the first Thursday of the month (September through May) at 1:00 pm at the church.
