2001 Senior Choir Report
The Evangelism Team assists the church by developing and implementing strategies to reach out to those in our church and communities with God's invitation to hear and believe the Gospel of Christ and thus to be reconciled to Him and become a part of the fellowship of believers.
In 2001, the Evangelism Team helped coordinate newspaper articles and ads that featured events held by the church in an effort to attract the unchurched in our area. The Evangelism Team also helped host special guests and singing groups whose Gospel message might help bring people to a decision of trusting Christ as Savior and Lord. The Evangelism Team has also discussed ways to make guests to our church feel welcome and hopefully inclined to return.
The Evangelism Team, in 2002, hopes to further develop ways to "get the word out" concerning the ministries and mission of Friedens Church. A survey is being planned that will provide information concerning how well Friedens is known in the area. The Strategic Planning process has also provided some goals and possible strategies to be implemented in 2002.
The Evangelism Team in 2001 included: Betty Toeller, Bill Paape, Bette Sather, and Pat Kohn. Additional help is needed in 2002. Please consider being a part of this exciting and important ministry and share your interest with one of the Pastors or Council members.
