A Heart for Missions
Monday, February 8th, 2010On Sunday, Feb. 14, cookies will be sold for $1 each to raise money for Friedens missionaries. Also, during the month of February, food items will be collected to support the Kidz in the Hood outreach in Milwaukee. Needed food items include: cereal, coffee, oatmeal, sugar, toilet paper, canned soups, brown sugar, paper towels, canned fruits, pancake mix, napkins, canned tuna, syrup, paper plates, canned chicken, stove top stuffing, plastic ware, canned beef, peanut butter, disposable cups, macaroni, jelly, flour, cornmeal and tea.
Friedens donates 12 percent of its general giving to missionaries locally, nationally and internationally. For more information on missionaries supported by Friedens, CLICK HERE.
Awana Grand Prix
Saturday, January 9th, 2010Join in the fun of the Awana Grand Prix on April 7 by racing or sponsoring a car. The cost is $5. Children and adults are welcome. Money raised goes to support a children’s Awana program in Africa. Call David Wetzel at (262) 388-0699 for more information.
Visitation Team Volunteeers Needed

Friedens is on Facebook
Tuesday, March 10th, 2009There is now a Friedens group on Facebook for current and former members, missionaries and other friends of Friedens. If you have a Facebook account, join the Friedens group to interact online with other group members, post photos and hear about upcoming events. Those wanting to join have to be approved by the site administrator so not just anyone can access the group site. Questions? Contact Dan Benson.
Other Ways You Can Help Friedens Financially
Monday, June 2nd, 2008Besides giving your tithes and offerings (Malachi 3:10), you can help Friedens accomplish its mission to serve others in a number of other ways:
- Make Friedens the beneficiary of your Pick ‘N’ Save card’s We Care Program. A percentage of every purchase you make will go to Friedens. You can apply for a card online by CLICKING HERE or go to the customer service desk at the store.
- Drop off your receipts from Sentry groceries in the box on the information table in Fellowship Hall. A percentage of the purchase price will go to Friedens.
- Buy your books and other items through Friedens’ online store where you’ll find a link to Christianbook.com. Friedens earns a commission of 12% from every purchase made through the link.
- Bring your empty Dell, HP or Lexmark ink or toner cartridges into the church office to be recycled. It helps the church earn a discount on paper and other products.
- You can also give to Friedens automatically each month through automatic withdrawal from your bank account. Download the the application form to do so by CLICKING HERE.
- Also, check out opportunities to serve and prayer requests.
Donate Automatically
Thursday, April 3rd, 2008You now can donate to Friedens and its ministries automatically by filling out an authorization form to have your checking or savings account debited electronically. Just download the form by CLICKING HERE and turn it into your bank and the church office. For questions, call the church office at (262) 284-2471.
What’s Your Spiritual Gift?
Friday, August 31st, 2007Now you can take a test through Friedens website to help you find out. Go to Friedens “Resources” page and click on Free Spiritual Gifts Analysis, where you’ll find a link to an online gifts test available through Ephesians Four Ministries.
