    Midweek Youth Group

    Wednesdays from 6:00-7:30pm

    For 5th-12th graders

Location Update: Meets at the Port Washington High School Lighthouse Room

Our mission as a ministry is to move towards one another in community, and move towards being more like Jesus in the world. Friends and visitors are welcome every week!  We will have connection time and games, Jesus-centered large group topics, and small groups based on grade and gender. During construction, we will be meeting at the Port Washington High School Library. Drop off is by the main entrance. Look for the sign directing you to the library.

    Classes from 9:25-10:15am

    • There are Sunday-School classes for the following age groups: 4th-6th grade; 7th-8th grade; and 9th-12th grade.

    • 4th-8th grade students all study a curriculum called "Gospel Story," which walks through the entire Bible in a multi-year cycle.

    • The 9th-12th grade class studies a curriculum called "God's Unfolding Kingdom," which provides an in-depth look at the storylines and books of the Old Testament in order to increase students' "biblical literacy" and their passion & confidence in Scripture.

    • During building construction, classes are meeting in nearby homes. Our staff and volunteers will be happy to assist you in finding class locations!

    • Students are also welcome to attend a worship service before class (8:00am) or after class (10:30am)!

    Bibles for Students

At the beginning of each school year, we give the "Gospel Story Bible" to incoming 1st graders and an ESV Student Study Bible to incoming 4th graders. If you are new to us and have decided to make Friedens your church home, we would be glad to give you a Bible! Email us or talk with Pastor Michael to choose the color of your cover.
