prayer.jpg You can find out at any time who in the Friedens family is in need of prayer by calling our HEARTS — Heaven’s Ears Are Responsive to Supplication — line at (262) 284-7007. You’ll hear a recorded message containing information on those in need of prayer. The recording is updated daily, seven days a week. To add a prayer request to the HEARTS Line, call the church office at 284-2471. You also can submit a prayer request by using the website “Contact” form. Opportunities for corporate prayer include a time before Sunday service at 8:30 a.m. and at 6:30 a.m. on Thursdays. Both are held in the church library.
This week’s prayer requests for Friedens Church:
  • Monday: That God will continue to bless the ministries of Friedens Church.
  • Tuesday: That Friedens will continue to grow in love and unity.
  • Wednesday: That Friedens will grow in our dependence on God.
  • Thursday: That God will encourage those in music and media at Friedens.
  • Friday: That God would lead new people to music and media at Friedens.
  • Saturday: That Friedens will be a light to the Port Washington community.
  • Sunday: That God will work and be glorified through the activities at Friedens.
    Ongoing prayer requests include:

    • Pray the Lord would send workers who have a heart for people to go out into the harvest and have an impact for God in their homes, families, neighborhoods, workplaces and communities. (Luke 10:2)
    • Pray for volunteers in our children’s ministries.(Matthew 19:13-14)
    • Pray for our children, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and grow up to become men and women of influence for God. (Psalm 127:3-5)
    • Pray that men would take on the challenge of being spiritual leaders in their homes and lay down their lives for their wives. (Ephesians 5:25 and Ephesians 6:4)
    • Pray for our pastors and church leaders as they plot how best to execute the mission of the church and serve the needs of the people. Pray for their encouragement, their families and that God would protect them. (Hebrews 13:7)
    • Pray for unity among all believers, but especially within the local body (John 17:20-21) and that all would have a submissive spirit to one another (Ephesians 5:21), but especially to our leaders (Hebrews 13:17).
    • Pray we would love one another in the church as Christ loves the church and that our love would be evident to others outside our church family. (John 13:35)
    • Pray that God would be glorified in our church, our community and our lives. (2 Thessalonians 1:11-12)
