Prayer
You can find out at any time who in the Friedens family is in need of prayer by calling our HEARTS — Heaven’s Ears Are Responsive to Supplication — line at (262) 284-7007. You’ll hear a recorded message containing information on those in need of prayer. The recording is updated daily, seven days a week. To add a prayer request to the HEARTS Line, call the church office at 284-2471. You also can join us in prayer at 6:30 a.m. on Thursdays at church.Ongoing prayer requests include:
- Pray the Lord would send workers who have a heart for people to go out into the harvest and have an impact for God in their homes, families, neighborhoods, workplaces and communities. (Luke 10:2)
- Pray for volunteers in our children’s ministries.(Matthew 19:13-14)
- Pray for our children, that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and grow up to become men and women of influence for God. (Psalm 127:3-5)
- Pray for men who would take on the challenge of being spiritual leaders in their homes. (Ephesians 5:25 and Ephesians 6:4)
- Pray that more people would “tremble” at God’s Word (Isaiah 66:2) and become more devoted to its study and application.
- Pray for our pastors and church leaders as they plot how best to execute the mission of the church and serve the needs of the people. Pray for their encouragement, their families and that God would protect them. (Hebrews 13:7)
- Pray for unity among all believers, but especially within the local body (John 17:20-21), and that all would have a submissive spirit to one another (Ephesians 5:21), but especially to our leaders (Hebrews 13:17).
- Pray that God would be glorified in our church, our community and our lives. (2 Thessalonians 1:11-12)
