Life Groups

“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.” (Acts 2:42)

Many of those who attend Friedens on Sunday gather during the week in small groups, which we call Life Groups. They are a great way to meet people, make friends, grow in your relationship with God and be on mission with him. Consider joining in one of these small discussion groups currently underway. Young Adults

  •  Genesis Bible study
  • Meets at Brandon and Shelly’s home and is open to young adults (~20-40 years old).  Meets every other Friday at 7:30pm.   

 

Men

  •  “Deuteronomy” Bible Study
  • Wednesdays at 6:30pm in Friedens library; facilitated by Gary  

 

Women

  •  “Psalms” Bible Study
  • Every other Wednesday at 6:30pm  

 

Everyone

 Adult Sunday Classes @ 9:25am

  • Honoring the Sabbath -  What a great way to start the New Year with a whole new approach to the Sabbath.  In this day and age, busyness fills our time.  Sunday is another day to fill with busyness.  This class will be exploring how to put the honor back into the Sabbath. This class meets downstairs in the corner classroom.Led by Doris in classroom below Pastor Brandon’s Office.

 

  • Explore the Bible Numbers and Dueteronomy - Life on the Edge:  Find out just how applicable Old Testament books of the Bible can be.  Numbers provides Warning! Watch Out for Pitfalls and Deuteronomy tells us to Listen! Love God Above All.  How does this apply to you? Join the group to find out.  Led by Bev  in classroom on Mezzanine Level.

 

  • “Living Sent Lives” – Many people are intimidated, nervous, or scared to share Christ’s love with others.  If you feel this way, you are not alone.  This group explores how to live lives that speak of Christ’s love and how to share this love with others.  This class meets upstairs in the Wiggle Room.  Led by Dan in the Wiggle Room.

 

  • “Romans” Bible study
  • Thursdays 9am in the library.
  • Facilitated by Jim 

 

  • Heaven Book Study
  • Meets at the Morgan’s home every other Thursday @ 6:30pm.  

 

Not a Fan LifeGroups

New 6-week LifeGroups, based on the Not a Fan sermon series, will begin the week of January 22.  We encourage everyone to get involved! 

 

Prayer Gathering

  • Sundays at 7:30am in the church library
  • Parents of Adult Children—Meets 1st Saturday of the month.
