Friedens offers several areas of service for children and teens on Sundays and during the week. These include:
Nursery: Friedens nursery program is for children from birth to age 4 and is available during both the 8 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services and during the 9:15 Sunday School/Adult Discussion Group hour.
Sunday School: Friedens’ Sunday school program is at 9:15 a.m. and uses a diversity of teaching methods and activities that allow children from pre-school through 5th grade to learn God’s truths at their own speed and in a way suitable for them.
Ignite: Every Wednesday night, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., children 4 years old through 5th grade gather at Friedens for Ignite, a weekly club where children learn about God’s love for them through Bible memorization, games and other activities. Ignite is free and is open to all children, whether or not they or their families attend Friedens.
Vacation Bible School: Each June, Friedens offers a one-week Vacation Bible School that draws more than 100 children from all over the area for fun, games, treats and life-changing Bible instruction.
Blaze: Blaze is Friedens’ program for teens in 6th through 12th grade. Blaze meets monthly on the first Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8:00 pm. Small groups for middle school and high school students meet on Sunday nights from 6:30 -8:00 except on the Sunday before a Tuesday Blaze meeting.
