Friedens' Staff

Friedens is blessed with a wonderful staff team.  In addition to the five "core" staff listed below, Friedens' ministry is strengthened by numerous men and women who generously give of their time, resources, and expertise.  We are also in the process of adding a full-time youth pastor.

  • Brandon Lemons

    Senior Pastor

Until his early 20s, Brandon's passion was cars. In pursuit of this passion, he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering Technology from Minnesota State University-Mankato. However, during Brandon’s sophomore year of college, he learned about the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ and committed his life to following Jesus. As Brandon got more involved in ministry on campus and in his church, God changed his passion from cars to helping people grow as Christ-followers. After graduating from college, Brandon served on the staff of Cru (Campus Crusade for Christ) at North Dakota State University for three years. Brandon then went to Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, where he received a Masters of Divinity.  In 2009, Brandon began serving as Lead Pastor at Friedens.

Brandon and his wife, Shelly, have two children, Mikias and Tehila. Besides spending time with family and friends, Brandon enjoys reading, and he is a dedicated cyclist.

  • Greg Masslich

    Pastor of Adult Discipleship

Greg started his career in the business world of finances services, and in 2000, God led him into vocational ministry.  He started by serving in a full-time volunteer position at Willow Creek Community Church in the Chicago area, and the following year he began a staff role at Elmbrook Church in Brookfield, Wisconsin.  He served in several roles at Elmbrook for nearly ten years, particularly in Men's Ministry, small groups, and curriculum development.  More recently, Greg served as Director of Spiritual Growth at Cornerstone Church in Grafton, Wisconsin.  Greg is nearing completion of his Masters of Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.  He has been involved at Friedens since 2014 and joined Friedens' staff in 2018.

Greg and his wife, Elizabeth, have two children, Zakira and Josh.  He enjoys spending time with his family, camping, running, biking, reading, and learning about cutting-edge technology.

  • Charissa Toeller

    Worship & Communications Director

Charissa was discipled by her parents from an early age and affirmed her personal commitment to follow Jesus in Junior High. She held both part- and full-time worship ministry positions prior to beginning her current role at Friedens in 2010.
